Raphie Ecentral® is a crazy idea that I, Rafael Vila, came up with when I was 18 years old. I wanted to create a site where all the graphic designers come together and share experiences techniques and more. At that time I was just a crazy long hair rocker without any idea what web design was all about. I started creating things with MS Frontpage. That was my window that open a lot of opportunities for me.

I didn't went to college... well, I went but I had to quit. You know I didn't born with a silver spoon, I grew up in a poor house. My parents did a lot for me but when I was in college my dad lost his job so I had to make a decision if to continue in college or support my family. It wasn't until I turned 30 that I went to college and graduate as a Commercial Graphic Designers. Even though I knew everything they were teaching about that time, I need the paper that says that I'm a graphic designer.

Now, I'm living in Texas with my son Jean, my grandson Gabriel, my wife Estella and a upcoming baby - that I know is a baby girl. I love my family and I enjoy my kids. I hope this page will be a guiding light for them. I want them to learn how to share with others and to learn from others too.
